Butter Paper x Tanmaya listening party on August 6 was a warm, intimate celebration of young, genre-bending artists unafraid to experiment and connect. From Rachit’s emotional rap and Varg’s smooth, free-spirited stage presence to Broji and Dhani’s melodic grooves and sharp political satire, the night moved with ease between vulnerability, humour, and high energy. Niharika commanded the room with sultry acoustic rap and Punjabi beats, while Tanmaya dressed “for her funeral as a people pleaser”, delivered soulful trap with an angelic voice and playful wit, closing the night alongside Niharika as “Girls with Debilitated Moons” stickers made their way into pockets and onto phones. It was a night of openness, fearless artistry, and a community bound by music.
